Structure fire devastates home
LOCK HAVEN -- A fire broke out in a home located at 6 Spruce Drive, Sunset Pines, Lock Haven at around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, September 4.
According to the Lock Haven Fire Department's Facebook page, units arrived on scene to find smoke showing from the second floor of the home.
Two occupants and three dogs were home at the time of the incident, but all were able to escape the structure with no injuries.
Multiple units were on scene and assisting, according to the Clinton County Department of Emergency Services; the Lock Haven Fire Department, Dunnstown Fire Department, Jersey Shore Fire Department, Beech Creek-Blanchard Fire Department, Lock Haven City Police, Lock Haven University Police, Lock Haven EMS, Jersey Shore EMS and Flemington EMS/Goodwill Hose.
The Clinton County Department of Emergency Services noted that the fire was out at around 5:26 a.m.
The Clinton County Fire Wire shared a live stream of the event on their Facebook page, depicting numerous firefighters battling the blaze as the upper portion of the home is engulfed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the PA State Police Fire Marshall's Office, with damage to the home estimated at around $150,000.
