Dr. Lana Weaver and Mrs. Prella Smith's 4th Grade classes at Liberty-Curtin Elementary have been studying ecosystems and how living and non-living things work together. Recently they learned about the many different species in the owl population and explored food chains through dissecting owl pellets. They would like to thank their guest speaker, Brian Budjanec, an Environmental Education Specialist from DCNR, working at the Kettle Creek State Park.
