LOCK HAVEN -- The Clinton County Arts Council will be kicking off its members' Holiday Art Sale with an opening reception on Friday, Nov. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Station Gallery, 2 E. Bald Eagle St.
The CCAC Board of Directors is excited for its members to showcase works for the holiday art sale. They encourage everyone to "Shop Small at the Gallery" this holiday season.
"Remember that artists showing in our gallery also need to support families and their community by selling their works, and shopping small at the Station Gallery is just as important as supporting all of the downtown businesses," CCAC Board President Steve Getz said. "Plus, the Station Gallery and Clinton County Arts Council is a non-profit organization. A portion of every sale goes right back into creating arts events for the entire community! This includes exhibits, musical performances, workshops and a scholarship."
The gallery will showcase a wide variety of holiday gift ideas at varying prices. This includes creations by Jennifer Deitloff such as garments and linens like napkins and table covers; hand-woven scarves to adorn your favorite person by Jennifer Krause; and framed pieces by wildlife artist Ron Beach.
There will be fine ceramic mugs and kitchen items by artist Jim Grimsley, and uniquely crafted decorative and functional ceramic works by artist Deb Stabley, and ceramic ornaments and other decor by Carol Cillo.
Bruce Wallace has photo work in the show, including a wonderful selection of notecards. Tom Svec will be elegantly showcasing the dinnerware on one of this hand crafted wooden tables, along with other small works.
There will be lots of other favorites, like funky trees made from recycled objects, various other art styles and other items coming into the gallery as the shopping season goes on.
Check out the new items as we get closer to the holiday.
