Businesses, alumni donate time, talent to KCF Experience Auction

MILL HALL -- With bidding ending this Friday at 8 p.m., the Keystone Central Foundation is wrapping up their first holiday experience auction.
Since the goal of the Keystone Central Foundation is to help create experiences beyond the classroom for students of KCSD, they decided to make the theme of this auction experience packages as well. Donors can bid in the comments on Facebook or bid anonymously by contacting KCF.
Winning bidders of the packages will appreciate the level of detail to make these packages truly memorable, especially for gift-giving.
Package #2 for the Central PA Wine, Distillery & Beer Tour is just one of the examples of concierge-type packages. The winning bidder can choose a Saturday that works best for them. A group of eight will meet in the parking lot at Floating Feathers and enjoy transportation for the day provided by Susquehanna Transit.
They will be greeted with brunch boxes from LHHS Alum Heather Robinson from Pearl's Cafe, mimosas, water and snacks. Then they will be whisked away to Mt. Nittany Winery and Big Springs Spirits before returning to Floating Feathers with a $100 gift card donated by KCSD Alum Lee Powers.
The LHU Package is also a great example of an above and beyond experience for the sports fan. In addition to the LHU Sports Passes and $100 bookstore gift card, the winner of this auction will have two seats in the President's Box for both the men's and women's basketball game on Jan. 7. They will also receive free admission to the pre-match reception before each wrestling match and a private meet n' greet and pictures with Coach Moore and select wrestlers on Jan. 19.
Lock Haven High School grad Louis Anastos is graciously hosting a private six-course dinner for eight at Stella A's with music provided by southern folk harpist Jamie Castillo and a beautiful centerpiece donated by Flowers by Monica.
The 4-5 hour guided bass fishing tour with George Daniel (LHHS alumni) is perfect for holiday gift giving, especially with an out-of-town friend or family member. This package includes a free overnight stay at a Lumberjack Lifestyles property and gift cards for breakfast at The Texas and dinner at the Broken Axe.
The last package, for golf lovers, would make a perfect bachelor trip or time with out-of-the area friends. It includes a free foursome with cart at Clinton Country Club, Belles Springs and Mountain View Golf Courses and then enjoy an overnight stay by the fire pit, hunting, fishing or hiking at 3 G's Airbnb in a private wooded setting in Loganton.
