Centre County dedicates children’s room at courthouse

BELLEFONTE -- The Centre County Court of Common Pleas has completed construction on a new children's room at the courthouse.
The space is intended to provide a calm and comfortable environment for children attending court proceedings. The space is filled with books, art supplies and toys, allowing children to take their focus away from being at the courthouse and/or participating in a court proceeding.
The space was made possible by the Centre County United Way's Women United group, The Makery and Grace Ryan Designs.
To honor the contributions made by the United Way Women United group, The Makery and Grace Ryan Designs, the court held a dedication ceremony at the Centre County Courthouse.
