Prior to the end of 2023, Centre County held an Oath of Office Ceremony on Friday morning to welcome incumbent and newly elected officials. Among those taking part in the ceremony, held at the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte, were Centre County Commissioners; various government offices such as prothonotary, coroner, treasurer and sheriff; Bellefonte Borough officials including council members and more. The ceremony was presided over by Judge Katherine V. Oliver with the Oath of Office administered by Oliver, Judge Julia Rater, Senior Judge Thomas Kistler and Senior Judge Pamela Ruest.
