LOCK HAVEN -- Book lovers, collectors and anyone who just enjoys reading is in for a treat this spring.
Due to a high volume of donations in previous years, the Ross Library is hosting a new spring book sale on March 27-30.
The sale will feature favorite genres in fiction and nonfiction, children's and young adult materials, education supplement kits, records, DVDs and more.
The library is currently accepting donations of books, DVDs, puzzles and other materials from now until March 15.
"Ross Library is holding a second book sale this year due to the popularity of the fall book sale, and the quantity of donations from kind community members," a release from the library said.
The hours will be Wednesday, March 27, and Thursday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The sale will be held on the library patio at 232 W. Main St., Lock Haven.
The spring book sale is in addition to the ever-popular Fall Book Sale the library holds each year.
The book sale in 2023 was a huge success. The Express previously reported from library officials it made double its usual income -- with all sales going towards repairing a damaged roof at the time.
