LOCK HAVEN — Go Joe 27 is coming to Clinton County soon with WNEP Meteorologist Joe Snedeker to kick off the “Inflate and Donate” charity bike ride on Monday at the Woodward Township Boat Launch.

The annual event sees all proceeds donated to St. Joseph’s Center, with Snedeker picking a new start point each year. And this year, WNEP has chosen right here.

Snedeker is expected to arrive on Sunday night during the Lock Haven City Summer Concert Series at the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater. Trip the Lights will be performing at 6:30 p.m.

His arrival time is slated between 6 to 6:30 p.m. where he and a WNEP reporter will hold a live broadcast.

Kira Rosamilia, Chamber Tourism Director for Clinton County Economic Partnership & Visitors Bureau, has helped organizing Snedeker’s time here and is requesting as many people as possible come to the concert.

“We need the amphitheater packed and boats to fill the water by 5:50 p.m.,” Rosamilia said.

Rosamilia is hoping to see many from Sunday night return bright and early on Sunday morning for Snedeker’s kick off of Go Joe 27.

The kick off will take place at 5 a.m. at the Lockport Boat Launch with Snedeker to do his live broadcast until about 8-8:30 p.m.

And if you need a boost to keep the energy going, Avenue 209 Coffee House will have its mobile trailer onsite to provide coffee and Bagel Bagel products.

JB Festies Foods will also be onsite offering breakfast egg rolls, hashbrowns and a special Pierogi Joe eggroll.

Rosamilia noted participants who donate on July 22 will be entered for a chance to win a 2-seat ATV rental for a day from PATV Endless Mountains Trails at Quiet Oaks Campground along with Go Joe Swag from Rachel K Creations.

Lock Haven and Woodward Township aren’t the only parts of Clinton County who can join in on the fun.

Rosamilia is encouraging everyone along Joe’s route to consider putting up inflatables to go along with this year’s theme.

“Let’s come together to support this wonderful cause and welcome Joe Snedeker from WNEP in style. We need everyone’s support to make this event special. With inflatables as the theme, pull out your kiddos’ inflatable Halloween costumes you thought you’d never use and come on down,” Rosamilia said. “We’re excited to see everyone and make this an unforgettable event!”

“We need everyone from the county from Bands, Clubs, Youth Sports teams, Cornhole leagues and more to help make this event and kickoff the best one yet! We know it’s early in the morning but thanks to Avenue 209 you can get your morning jolt,” she concluded.
