LOCK HAVEN -- Put on your best sundress or linen suit... you are cordially invited to Big Daddy Sugarbaker's birthday party in Atlanta, Ga. Next of Kin: A Murder Mystery Dinner, presented by the Annie Halenbake Ross Library and the Sons and Daughters of Italy, will give attendees the chance to test their detective skills and support a great cause. All of the money raised at this annual event goes to the library's general fund.
This year's production is scheduled for April 12 at 7 p.m. and April 13 at 2 p.m. at the Sons of Italy. A $35 ticket includes admission to the show and food. There will also be a cash bar. Tickets can be purchased at the Ross Library's main desk or online at www.rosslibrary.org.
Each show is a unique experience as the audience gets the opportunity to question the characters, decipher the clues and figure out who committed the murder.
Most of the cast members have been a part of this ensemble since the first year, but you may recognize a new face this year. City Councilwoman Tami Brannan will be making her debut alongside returning cast members Bill Feerrar, Chris Stanonis, John Shaffer, Ben Green, County Commissioner Angela Harding, Trish Severino, Denya Mutchler and Tracey White.
"The team of people who organize the murder mystery event and the group of entertainers are an absolute pleasure to work with," Brannan said.
This fundraiser would not be possible without the generosity of local businesses. The Annie Halenbake Ross Library would like to thank the Sons and Daughters of Italy, Schlesinger Communications, Woodlands Bank, Clinton County PA Democratic Party, Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living, Lea Ann S. Plessinger CPA, LLC, Redmond's Complete Comfort HVAC and Clear Air Technologies.
If you or your business would like to become a sponsor, email Rhouser013@yahoo.com. Donations of money or gift cards for food expenses would also be helpful.
Be sure to secure your tickets today. Tickets are limited and once they're gone...they're gone.
This is your chance to have bragging rights with your family and friends if you correctly guess who the culprit is or to just have a good laugh if you don't.
