LOCK HAVEN — Incumbent Clinton County Treasurer Michelle “Mick” Kunes has announced she will run again for the position in the 2025 Primary Election.

“I, Michelle Mick Kunes would like to announce that I will be seeking re-election for the Clinton County Treasurer in the May 20th primary election,” Kunes said in an announcement.

Kunes is a lifelong county resident and incumbent with 34 years of experience in the treasurer’s office. The past 14, she has spent serving the people of Clinton County as county treasurer.

As treasurer, she oversees all county revenues across 46 separate accounts, acts as tax collector for 20 municipalities and is responsible for issuing a variety of licenses to residents.

“It is important to elect people with the experience, qualifications and dedication to do the job for you. I have all those qualities and my 34 years of working in the Treasurer’s office, and serving as your Clinton County Treasurer for 14 years gives me confidence to proudly ask for your vote in May,” she said.
