The Clinton County Economic Partnership unveiled a wooden carving of a Bald Eagle in honor of the CCEP’s late Chief Executive Officer Mike Flanagan that included Mike’s signature red tie. The tall Bald Eagle will be displayed at the CCEP’s office on Jay Street. It is among about 10 Bald Eagles that will grace the streets of Lock Haven during the upcoming LHJAMS Music and Arts Festival in downtown on Aug. 7-9. The Bald Eagles are the brainchild of Melissa Dally, manager of Downtown Lock Haven Inc., as she draws on the region’s history by having sponsors create one-of-a-kind carvings of Bald Eagles to display. Interim CCEP CEO Dave Harger announced the unveiling, which received an ovation from the crowd at the Castanea Picnic Grounds.
