The Wayne Township Landfill recently held its annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection event at its facility along Pine Mountain Road. According to information provided by WTL, nearly 100 county households turned out on Saturday for the event. “We helped 98 Clinton County households recycle their hazardous waste. Together we recycled 775 pounds of car batteries and over 268 gallons of oil,” the landfill said on social media. “We are so happy to see these items be properly disposed of so they don’t end up in our landfill.” The landfill thanked its employees and the community for helping make the event a success for 2025.
