Spectators lined the banks of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River in Lock Haven over Labor Day weekend for the city’s annual regatta. The multi-day event featured powerboat races that brought competitors from across the East Coast, along with live music, food and craft vendors and family activities. From Friday through Monday, crowds packed the stands of the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater to watch the high-speed action on the water, while children enjoyed carnival rides and games nearby. The regatta also highlighted local businesses and community organizations, offering visitors a taste of Clinton County’s hospitality. With its 54th year now completed, the event remains a signature tradition that continues to draw thousands to the region each summer.
