Don’t miss this community celebration! The public is invited.
Through the America250PA Bells Across PA program, artists from across the Commonwealth have been decorating three’foot fiberglass bells, each one a unique work of art that invites you to touch, explore and connect with our shared story.
More than 100 bells will be placed and dedicated throughout the Commonwealth by Dec. 31, 2025, to celebrate the diverse cultures and histories of each community.
The first bell was unveiled in Montgomery County in late May.
Now it’s Centre County’s turn! Join with friends of the Roland Curtin Foundation and Happy Valley Adventure Bureau as they unveil a brand new bell designed by Gyekis.
Gyekis received her BFA in painting and ceramics from Penn State and her MFA in painting from New York Academy of Art. The bell will be located between the Curtin Mansion and Eagle Furnace and remain in place throughout 2026.
This is more than an unveiling — it’s a chance to gather as neighbors, celebrate local artistry and be part of Pennsylvania’s journey toward America’s 250th birthday.
