LOCK HAVEN — Members of Lafayette Lodge #199 F&AM – Lock Haven came out on Sunday, Nov. 23 to continue bringing the holiday spirit to Lock Haven as they started decorating the newest addition to Triangle Park.
This year’s tree was donated to the city by Nick and Mary Cefelo and was installed late last week by the freemasons.
Freemason Dave Kohen strapped himself into the lift during the chilly afternoon to set up the lights and garland on the tree, while others helped fill in the bottom section of the tree ahead of the lighting ceremony.
The full lighting ceremony will be on Saturday, Nov. 29 immediately following Downtown Lock Haven Inc.’s annual Haven Holidays Parade at 6 p.m.
During the parade, there will be hot chocolate provided outside at the Masonic Temple. Feel free to stop by and grab a warm drink as you make your way to Triangle Park to watch them light up the tree.
