The following seats are up for election:
REGION II
Incumbent board member Elisabeth Lynch, who cross-filed, is the sole candidate running for the open seat in Region II. Region II is made up of Lamar Township and Mill Hall Borough. The seat is a four-year term, with Lynch expected to head into her third term barring any write-in candidates.
REGION IX
With incumbent member Butch Knauff not seeking re-election, two candidates are looking to fill the four-year term as Region IX’s representative. Region IX consists of the largest number of municipalities — mostly within Western Clinton County — and includes Renovo and South Renovo boroughs, Leidy, Chapman, Steward, East Keating, Noyes, Grugan and Gallagher townships. Candidates Mary Kramer, a Republican, and Megan House, a Democrat, will be up for election to represent Region IX.
REGION V
With incumbent member Tracy Smith not seeking re-election, newcomer Shelby Bohartz, who cross-filed, will be the only candidate included on the ballot to represent Region V of the school district. Region V consists of Lock Haven’s First Ward, Woodward Township and Colebrook Township.
REGION VII
With incumbent member Roger Elling not seeking re-election, newcomer John E. Miller, who cross-filed, is the only candidate that will be featured on the ballot to represent the district’s Region VII that consists of Lock Haven’s Fourth and Fifth Wards.
