Swearing to serve: Clinton County holds swearing-in ceremony

LOCK HAVEN — An Oath of Office Ceremony for all newly elected and re-elected officials from Clinton County was held yesterday at 11 a.m. in the large courtroom at the Clinton County Courthouse, 230 E. Water St., Lock Haven.
Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna and Clinton County Treasurer Michelle Kunes took the oath of office that date as each won reelection.
The winning candidate in any elected municipal position within the county along with family, friends and the public was invited to join Clinton County President Judge Craig P. Miller, Judge Michael F. Salisbury and Clinton County’s retired judge, J. Michael Williamson as they presided over this ceremony.
Once again, all municipal election winners were encouraged to attend and join Coroner Hanna and Treasurer Kunes in this ceremony.
Many newly elected officials were sworn in ahead of their new terms, which are set to begin Jan. 5, 2026.
