‘Capture the Clinton County Courthouse’: County tourism announces next puzzle contest honoring America250PA; submissions due May 15

Clinton County Tourism is looking for local photographers of all skill sets to submit their best photo of the Clinton County Courthouse for this year’s puzzle.

LOCK HAVEN — The Clinton County Economic Partnership is announcing the launch of its next photo puzzle which honors America250PA and celebrates 250 years of American history and heritage. All this while supporting the annual series which showcases county landmarks.

This special edition puzzle, titled “Capturing the Clinton County Courthouse,” invites photographers of all skill levels to submit their best images of the iconic Clinton County Courthouse for a chance to have their photo featured in an official Clinton County promotional puzzle.

The contest highlights one of the county’s most historic landmarks while encouraging residents and visitors to showcase their creativity and community pride.

The deadline to submit your photo is Friday, May 15.

How to Enter

Participants may submit one high-resolution digital photograph of the Clinton County Courthouse by emailing the photo to exploreccpa@clintoncountyinfo.com with the subject line “Clinton County Courthouse Puzzle Contest.” Include the photographer’s name, phone number, email address and the date and location the photo was taken.

All photos must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi),submitted in JPEG or PNG format and must be suitable for print reproduction.

Rules and

Regulations

The contest is open to amateur and professional photographers. Photos must be original work taken by the entrant.

Images must feature the Clinton County Courthouse as the primary subject. By entering, participants grant Clinton County Economic Partnership permission to use the submitted image for promotional purposes related to the puzzle and America250PA initiatives, with credit given to the photographer.

Judging

and Selection

All eligible submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges and will be evaluated based on: Creativity and composition; Visual impact; Representation of the courthouse and community pride; and Technical quality.

The winning photograph will be selected by majority vote of the judging panel. The selected image will be featured on the official Clinton County Landmark puzzle and promoted through Clinton County Economic Partnership marketing channels. The winning photographer will have their full name and a short bio published on the puzzle box and will receive a complimentary puzzle.

“This puzzle contest is a wonderful way to celebrate both our local landmarks and the upcoming America250PA milestone. We look forward to seeing the courthouse through the unique perspectives of our community,” Tourism Director Melissa Dally said.
