LOCK HAVEN — Covenant Cafe, an activity group for those in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias, got into the spirit of Valentine’s Day during its recent meeting.

On Feb. 3, the group worked on a special Valentine craft with volunteers.

The group also enjoyed a drumming exercise following the craft.

Covenant Cafe will be meeting on Feb. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven.

David Bellomo, community educator from AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania, will give a presentation entitled “25 Ways to Stay Healthy.” The group will also participate in a game of noodle ball, a fun physical activity using pool noodles and balloons. A presidential trivia game to celebrate President’s Day will end the session. Refreshments will be served during a social time.
