KC board to consider personnel items at voting session
MILL HALL — The Keystone Central School District Board of Directors reviewed a number of personnel items during its work session on Thursday night.
The items will be considered for approval at its voting session, held Thursday, Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m.:
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Support
— Leave of absence for Employee 000698, Secretarial Staff, effective Jan. 22, through approximately March 6. Absence is uncompensated.
Professional
— Leave of absence for Employee 001398, Secondary Teacher, effective Feb. 10, through approximately Feb. 24. Absence is compensated.
EMPLOYMENT
Support
— Approve the following drivers and aides for Keep Safe for the 2025-2026 school year. Hiring is contingent upon receipt of all required paperwork including, but not limited to, all necessary background checks that meet the appropriate standard(s) as required by Pennsylvania law: Jeffrey Dutton.
— Approve student teachers for the 2025-2026 school year.
— Approve the following ESS Substitutes for the 2025-2026 school year: Kylie Ehrensberger, teacher; Kathryn Lovensheimer, teacher; Michelle Walker, teacher; Sophia Carpenter, teacher; Katherine Dougherty, teacher; Alex Yost, teacher; Lisa Walker, teacher; Alyssa Schenck, teacher; Delaney Joyce, teacher; Mary Grace Moran, teacher; Meghan Moyer, teacher; Ryan Alexander, teacher.
— Approve the following Volunteers for the 2025-2026 school year: Beth Moore and Tiffany Kisko.
— Approve the following Co-Op/Diversified Occupations volunteers for the 2025-2026 school year: Samuel Werts, DCNR.
— Approve the payment of secretary mentor Dawn Stiffler, in the amount of $250.

— Transfer from Lori Martin, Building Assistant, Autistic Support, at Robb Elementary School to Personal Care Assistant, at Central Mountain High School, effective to be determined, at a rate of $23.75/hr, paid from the General Fund per the ESP Contract.
— Transfer from Virginia Bauman, Building Assistant, at Central Mountain High School to Personal Care Assistant, at Central Mountain High School, effective to be determined, at a rate of $22.94/hr, paid from the General Fund per the ESP Contract.
— Transfer from Krystle Smith, Personal Care Assistant, at Robb Elementary School to Personal Care Assistant, at Central Mountain High School, effective Jan. 1, 2026. No change to rate in pay.
