CATA seeks community input; Meetings to be held April 8
STATE COLLEGE — The Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will host two community input meetings on Tuesday, April 8, inviting all residents of the Centre region to share their feedback on CATA’s current and future services.
A release from CATA stated its commitment to ensuring its transportation services continue to meet the evolving needs of the community. Input from riders, prospective riders, businesses and residents plays a critical role in shaping service improvements, future planning and decisions that directly affect mobility throughout the region.
“CATA is always interested in feedback from the community, and these meetings provide an opportunity for direct face-to-face engagement with CATA management and senior staff,” said CATA CEO Todd Horsley. “We want to know what we’re doing well, where we can improve, how we can get you to ride, what works for you and what doesn’t. No concern is too small or off the table — every piece of feedback we receive helps us shape a system that better serves the communities in and around State College.”
Both meetings will take place in the Downsbrough Community Room at Schlow Library, 211 S. Allen St. in downtown State College.
