CCCF announces $230,679 in committed gifts for 2026
LOCK HAVEN — Thanks to the graciousness of people and organizations that seek to leave a legacy of giving to strengthen Clinton County, the Clinton County Community Foundation announces the distribution of donor-directed gifts totaling approximately $230,679 to various organizations for 2026.
These gifts from donors come on the heels of the Foundation awarding $302,708 in competitive grants to dozens of nonprofits and municipalities earlier this year, explained Robert O. “Bob” Rolley, Jr., Foundation outreach coordinator.
Upcoming will be the awarding of some $50,000 in educational scholarships to Clinton County high school students.
“The Clinton County Community Foundation takes great care and pride in stewarding gifts from donors by making sure the funds are spent where they want and for what they want. These are ‘forever gifts’ honoring loved ones while also providing needed funds to our nonprofits, emergency first responders and other institutions,” said Mark A. Weaver, Foundation board president.
Proceeds from gifts to the Foundation are distributed annually to designated recipients, as directed by donors.
More information on how to establish a “forever” or legacy gift to honor a loved one or support a cause can be found online at www.clintoncountyfoundation.org, or by calling the Foundation at 570-220-1038.
