Commissioners OK personnel, other items
LOCK HAVEN — The Clinton County Board of Commissioners’ voting session was quick this week, with the board approving a variety of items related to personnel and more.
Under personnel, the board unanimously approved the following:
— Hiring Freya Williams as resource conservationist at the Clinton County Conservation District, effective March 30, at a salary of $43,710.
— Hiring Isaiah Maldonaldo as full-time deputy sheriff in the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department, effective March 30, contingent on successful pre-employment screenings, at a salary of $38,304.
— Terminating Gunner Vuocolo as deputy sheriff, effective March 12.
— Accepting the resignation of Erin Worden, elections assistant/utility floater in the Voter Registration/Elections Office, effective March 26.
In other business, the board:
— Passed a resolution to accept repository bids following review by the county’s solicitor, Justin Houser.
— Approved a software services agreement between the county and GOV AI Software Solutions for the district attorney Case Management System (CMS), including annual core services in the amount of $4,625, effective March 26.
— Approved a three-year subscription with Thomson Reuters for Westlaw Patron access services for the Clinton County Law Library, with a 5 percent annual increase as outlined in the agreement, effective March 26.
— Approved a settlement agreement resolving an employee grievance, effective March 20.
— Approved an addendum to a contract between the county and Love 2 Care to provide placement services for Clinton County Children & Youth/Juvenile Probation, effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
— Heard from Chief Clerk Desiree Myers who reminded residents county offices would be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of the Easter holiday.
