Egg-cellent Fun: Renovo gears up for Easter with exciting events all weekend

The Easter Bunny made it to the Renovo area a little early, stopping by the Flaming Foliage Festival’s Spring craft show where kids had the chance to meet and have their picture taken with ol’ Peter Cottontail. Two of those youngsters were three year-old Inaya, above at right, daughter of Natalie and Zain Ayaz, as well as Lane Randsdorf, at to left, son of Miranda Barton and Aaron Ransdorf. The craft show filled the Citizen’s Hose Company of South Renovo, flowing throughout the firehall and into the truck bay. Vendors had crafts, wares and plenty of festive holiday treats, as the festival committee had the kitchen opening with items like their ham pot-pie and chili and hot dogs. The Easter fun didn’t stop there, with Easter just days away, Bucktail Medical Center Auxiliary and dozens of kiddos excited for the holiday braved the cold and wind to take part in BMC’s annual Easter Egg hunt on the grounds of the facility. There were plenty of eggs for everyone and a large amount of prize-winning golden eggs glistened in the sun. Although most egg groups are over in just seconds, the 0-2 age group often needs a little prodding from parents and family to not stop at just one egg. Pictured at top right is Marie Morgan, daughter of AJ and Keaton Morgan, who is searching for eggs with a basket in hand. Pictured above at left is Ryley Bratton, daughter of Ryan and Haley Bratton, as she gleefully grabs an egg with her free hand.
