LOCK HAVEN — Nearly 1,000 community members gathered for the first ever Eggstravaganza hosted by Addie’s Inc., the Piper Aviation Museum and Beyond The Bell for Clinton County. Despite windy weather, families from across the area came out to celebrate and enjoy a day filled with activities, food and community spirit.

More than 10,000 eggs were spread across multiple age groups, allowing participants of all ages to join in the fun. Age categories included 4 and under, 5-8, 9-12, 13-17, 18 and over and 55 and up, ensuring that everyone had a chance to participate.

One of the biggest highlights of the event was the Easter Bunny’s arrival in a Piper Cub airplane, which drew excitement from children and adults alike.

While waiting for the egg hunts, families were able to grab a bite to eat from Mama Martina’s Food Truck, as well as enjoy burgers and hot dogs provided by Beyond The Bell for Clinton County.

Inside the Piper building, attendees could take part in face painting, raffles, activities and visit with local vendors. Harry the Hynerpeton also made a special appearance, bringing smiles to many throughout the day.

Adding an extra surprise to the egg hunts, Addie’s Inc. placed a diamond inside a special egg for each age group.

Event organizers expressed their gratitude to the community and everyone who helped make the event possible.

Special thanks were extended to The Constables, Piper Aviation Museum, Beyond The Bell for Clinton County, Mama Martina’s, LLC, Harry the Hynerpeton, the pilot, the Easter Bunny, Lafayette Lodge #199 F&AM-Lock Haven and the many friends, family members and employees who volunteered their time and support.

Organizers say they are grateful for the community’s turnout and support, helping make the first Eggstravaganza a successful and memorable event.
