Chicks and supplies are in stock, and customers are already stopping in to meet this week’s featured arrivals, including: Ameraucana; Polish; Speckled Sussex; Welbar; Blue Laced Red Wyandotte and Assorted Brahma

Whether customers are starting their first flock or adding to an existing coop, these pullets are now available and ready for their new homes.

In addition to chicks, animals available during the soft opening include rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, bear hamsters, betta fish and more. New animals and supplies will continue arriving weekly as the store prepares for its grand opening celebration in April.

Owners Jennifer and Brandon Irvin shared that their vision for Tails & Trails Pets extends beyond retail. Tails and Trails plans to build a true hometown pet store with a strong community focus. Their goal is to create meaningful relationships, host events, provide learning opportunities and serve local pet lovers with heart and purpose.

Tails & Trails Pets is also proud to feature locally made products, including fresh, dehydrated, all-natural dog treats and biscuits from Onyx’s Pet Bakery LLC. Customers are encouraged to stop in during the soft opening to pick up treats for their pets.

Current store hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Grand Opening, planned for April, will include family-friendly celebration activities such as pony rides and pet photography opportunities.
