Woodward zoning officer resigns
LOCKPORT –At this month’s Woodward Township meeting, supervisors discussed personnel changes.
Supervisors accepted the resignation of Jackie Bartlett who served as the township’s zoning officer, effective March 31.
In her letter of resignation, Bartlett shared her appreciation for the opportunity to serve in this capacity and to contribute to the community.
Each of the supervisors thanked Barlett for years of service, noting the challenges of the position and expressing appreciation for her contributions.
Bartlett has agreed to assist with the transition and complete any pending matters already scheduled.
Supervisors also addressed a vacancy on the zoning hearing board after receiving a letter of interest before the meeting, separate from Bartlett’s position.
Bob Rolley, outreach coordinator for the Clinton County Community Foundation, earlier expressed interest in an alternate position for the board.
During last night’s meeting, Rolley was appointed on an interim basis, effective April 1.
His appointment to the position will ensure a quorum at upcoming hearings, according to Bartlett.
Supervisor Kyle Coleman emphasized the temporary nature of the appointment while the township continues to seek a full-time member.
