Second graders in Mrs. Gallagher’s and Mrs. Labe’s classes at Robb Elementary School celebrated Earth Day by partnering with PennDOT, which provided equipment for a walking field trip to clean up trash around the school. Wearing safety vests and gloves, students grabbed trash bags and worked together to help keep the Earth clean. Before heading outside, they also took time to reflect on other ways they can protect and care for the environment.
