The Pre-K Counts class at the Lock Haven YMCA has been hard at work making a difference in the community. In celebration of Earth Day, students spent April 22 helping clean up the community. On Friday, April 24, they continued their efforts by partnering with the Public Works Department for the City of Lock Haven to plant a cherry tree at Hoberman Park. This special project honored Arbor Day and Volunteer Month while teaching students the value of caring for their environment and giving back to their community.
