LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven resident Colton Wheeler is currently competing for a spot in the Top 5 of the 2026 Junior Ranger Competition, a nationwide contest benefiting the National Wildlife Federation.
Securing a place in the Top 5 will advance Colton to the quarterfinal round, bringing him one step closer to a remarkable national opportunity.
The competition highlights young conservation leaders who are passionate about protecting wildlife and natural habitats. The grand prize includes a once-in-a-lifetime exclusive wildlife experience with renowned conservationist and TV host Jeff Corwin, along with national recognition.
