JERSEY SHORE– The New Love Center has announced it received $15,000 grant funding from First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP) to assist in its food warehouse project.

According to a release from The New Love Center, the grant will support a project aimed to strengthen the organization’s ability to safely and efficiently serve neighbors across the region.

Through this generous investment, The New Love Center was able to purchase a CAT forklift along with additional warehouse equipment essential to food distribution operations.

The funding supports the organization’s growing capacity to receive, store, organize and distribute large quantities of nutritious food to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

The grant provided the funding in support for warehouse improvements and equipment purchases, including the forklift, heavy-duty platform truck, hand truck, storage totes and panel truck.

“This equipment is a game changer for our warehouse operations,” said Holly Beaver of The New Love Center. “As the needs in our communities continue to grow, having the proper equipment allows us to move food more safely, efficiently and with greater dignity for those we serve. We are deeply grateful to FCFP for believing in our mission and investing in the future of our food distribution efforts.”

The new forklift will improve the organization’s ability to manage palletized food deliveries, maximize warehouse storage space and enhance volunteer safety while reducing physical strain during daily operations.

The New Love Center currently serves thousands of individuals and families throughout the region through its food pantry and community outreach programs.

Partnerships such as this one help ensure that neighbors facing hardship continue to have access to healthy food and compassionate support.

“We are thankful for community partners like First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania who come alongside organizations like ours to make a lasting impact,” Beaver added. “Together, we are building stronger, healthier communities.”
