LOCK HAVEN — The Second Annual Fire Float, hosted by Schlesinger Communications, Inc., and the Lock Haven Fire Department, was a great success as community members came together for a fun day on the scenic Susquehanna River while supporting a meaningful cause.

Participants enjoyed a relaxing float from Hanna Park to Lock Haven City Beach, taking in the beautiful river views and spending time with friends, family, and fellow community members.

The event helped raise funds for Citizens Hose Company No. 5 and Eastside Fire Rescue, with proceeds supporting daily operations, emergency response, and essential equipment for both departments.

A special thank you goes out to Susquehanna Transit Company for providing shuttle transportation, as well as all volunteers, organizers, sponsors, and participants who made the event possible.

Community support continues to make a real difference for our local first responders. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this year’s Fire Float another memorable success.

Starting at $4.10/week.
