MILL HALL — Determination, grit, and athletic excellence were on display throughout Centre and Clinton counties in the Ironman 70.3 Pennsylvania.
The event began on Sunday, June 14th, with a 1.2-mile open-water swim loop in the Foster Sayers Reservoir at Bald Eagle State Park, featuring a beach start and finish.
From there, athletes transitioned to the 56-mile cycling course that wound through Central Pennsylvania’s picturesque countryside, including a key stretch through the Mill Hall community.
Residents and spectators in the borough lined the route, cheering on competitors as they pedaled past — providing encouragement and enthusiasm that exemplified the area’s strong community spirit.
The race concluded with a dynamic 13.1-mile run through the campus of Penn State University, giving athletes one final challenge and an opportunity to gauge their position against fellow competitors.
