LOGANTON -- The Clinton County Court of Common Pleas is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on Loganton Borough Council.
According to a release from the court of common pleas, a petition to fill the vacancy, which is due to a retirement in January, was filed by the borough's solicitor, Justin K. Houser.
This is the only opening on the seven-member board.
Clinton County President Judge Craig P. Miller issued an order on June 30 requesting all interested and qualified individuals who may wish to be appointed to the opening to submit a letter of interest and resume to the court before July 31 at 5 p.m.
"To qualify, you must be a registered voter in the borough and must have resided in the borough for at least one year," the release stated.
Those who would like to submit a letter and resume may do so by mail to Don M. Powers, Court Administrator, Clinton County Courthouse, 230 E. Water St., Suite 200, Lock Haven, PA 17745.
