Though delayed slightly because of a sudden storm, the Jersey Shore Town Meeting saw its 2026 Queen Tiadaghton crowned during a special ceremony in the borough on Saturday, July 4. Layla Gallagher, the daughter of Jon and Stacey Gallagher, received the top honor on Saturday evening. Isabella Zimmerman, the daughter of Jaime and William Zimmerman, of Jersey Shore, was named 2026 Runner Up. The Queen Tiadaghton Organization congratulated both young ladies on this milestone. “As you wear this crown, remember that you are now part of a remarkable legacy spanning nearly six decades of young women who have represented Jersey Shore with pride,” it said in a release. “May you wear your crown with humility, lead with courage, serve with compassion and always remember that the greatest honor is not wearing the crown but making a positive difference in the lives of others.”
