LOCK HAVEN -- As co-chair of the Women's Leadership Caucus for the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP), Clinton County Commissioner Angela Harding organized a summer reception during CCAP's annual conference and trade show earlier this month.

The reception in Monroe County, held each summer, was at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions and featured a number of special guests including First Lady of Pennsylvania, Lori Shapiro.

"It is extremely empowering to work with such a strong group of women. Not only to advance our networking and resources but to collaborate on opportunities," Harding said. "Co-chairing the Women's Leadership Caucus is a privilege and I am honored to be a part of it."

Harding co-chairs the caucus with Union County Commissioner Stacy Richards.

The reception included female commissioners and council women, county leaders and private sector professionals.

Special guests beyond the first lady included Secretary of Human Services Val Arkoosh, Executive Director of the Governor's Advisory Commission on Women Ashley Walkowiak and the Governor's Office of Public Engagement Director Teresa Dennis.
