LOCK HAVEN -- Three university students were arrested and face multiple felony charges after allegedly holding two teenage boys against their will in an apartment complex in mid-April.
According to information released by the Lock Haven City Police Department, Elijah Beaty, 21, D'Andre Cochran, 20, and Zaire Williams, 20, were each charged with two counts of false imprisonment of a minor, second degree felonies; two counts of criminal conspiracy false imprisonment of minors, second degree felonies; two summary counts of harassment and two summary counts of conspiracy-harassment.
The charges stem from an incident at Evergreen Commons on April 11 where Beaty, Cochran and Williams allegedly held a 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy against their will in an apartment.
According to police, the three were allegedly attempting to get money from the juveniles for damage to their apartment, which occurred weeks prior to the incident.
Arrest warrants were issued for the three on Aug. 6, with all three arrested the same day and taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
Beaty, Cochran and Williams are currently out on $40,000 unsecured bail, according to police.
