Work resumed at the site of a Fourth of July fire that left several vacant business properties in ruins in Renovo Borough following a middle of the night blaze. Although vacant at the time, the building is owned by Gene Sockman and the now former Renovo Rail operation. Sockman attended this month's council meeting so that he could work in conjunction with the borough. The borough owned a garage on the rear of one of the properties and the fire destroyed the majority of their outdoor tools and equipment.
