LOCK HAVEN -- What makes Clinton County special? What should the county be known for in the years ahead?
Clinton County Government is inviting residents to share their thoughts through a new community identity survey as part of the ongoing update to the county's Comprehensive Plan and Open Space Greenway Plan.
"Clinton County means different things to different people, and that diversity is part of what makes our community unique. But understanding the places, qualities, traditions and opportunities that residents value most can help the County build a stronger shared vision for the future," a release from the county said.
That vision can guide decisions about community development, preservation, recreation and how Clinton County presents itself to residents, visitors and businesses alike.
"Your perspective matters. Whether you have lived here your entire life or are relatively new to the area, we want to hear what makes Clinton County special and what you hope it will become," the release said.
The survey is confidential, and every response helps build a clearer picture of the community's identity and priorities.
