LOCK HAVEN -- Jason Michael Paulhamus, 31, of East Main St., Lock Haven, pleaded guilty Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, to one count of criminal attempt to corrupt minors and one count of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.

Charges were filed by the Lock Haven City Police Department.

Paulhamus was charged after an investigation revealed that he was attempting to lure, what he thought was a 15-year-old girl, to engage in sexual activity with him, according to Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse's office. Instead Paulhamus had been communicating with a "decoy" posing as a 15-year-old girl.

Paulhamus will be evaluated by the Pennsylvania Sexual Offenders Assessment Board and will be sentenced in January.
