Halloween festivities lasted throughout the weekend in Renovo as trick-or-treaters had numerous opportunities to fill their bags with candy -- or be frightened as several groups and organizations held spooky-inspired events. On Saturday morning, the Renovo Area Public Library offered youngsters a chance to decorate witch hats before going outside to a parking lot full of trunk or treat cars offering candy and treats. Over 250 participated or attended the program. Saturday evening, coinciding with the Halloween trick-or-treating from 6-8 p.m., the Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park took their already possibly haunted building and, with the help of area teens, provided some good natured terror to those brave enough to enter the former Maxwell Furniture Store. Pictured at top helping Heritage Park with the scares were, from left, Carrie Ditty, Kelise Wagner, Otis Emerick, Arionna Winkelman, Mckenna Phillips, Mathew Miles and Colt Francis.
