LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Council approved nearly a dozen use requests as area businesses and organizations gear up for warmer weather and the summer season. First were a number of requests involving street closures on Main Street, each of which was approved unanimously by council on its second reading. BELLEFONTE —The Centre County Commissioners proclaimed April as Sexual Assualt Awareness Month in Centre County during their weekly meeting, stating they aim to raise awareness of issues affecting vulnerable community members and survivors. LOCK HAVEN — The majority of council’s first meeting in April surrounded continued steps to hire a new city manager, following the termination of its previous one. On Monday night, council approved an ordinance for the city manager, which offered an outline of the manager’s duties among other items.
