LOCK HAVEN — Discussions surrounding the planned construction of a Lock Haven Police Building continued Monday night, as city staff relayed they are working to bridge a funding gap. According to information provided by City Planner/Interim Manager Abbey Roberts, the total low bid for the building construction came in at $4,440,328. MILL HALL — At its monthly meeting this week, Bald Eagle Township Board of Supervisors addressed potential changes to local ordinances and Wawa project updates. The long anticipated Wawa convenience store has begun moving forward in terms of its completion. BELLEFONTE — After years of planning, Bellefonte Borough Council has conditionally approved the final land development plan for the Stage at Talleyrand, an open-air community performing arts center proposed for the west side of Talleyrand Park. The approval is contingent on resolving outstanding county review comments, including a cross-easement agreement and PennDOT highway occupancy permit.
