BEECH CREEK — Several local fishermen from the Clinton and Centre counties area took a one-day fishing excursion to Lake Erie on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025.
The crew booked their scheduled fishing outing to catch walleye with Real Obsession Fishing Charters a day earlier, but because of the storm remnants from Hurricane Erin coming up the Atlantic coast on Thursday, the outing was postponed until the next day.
The group and boat’s crew boarded the fishing vessel and hit the lake waters very early on Friday. They were treated to watching a beautiful sunrise before getting down to the business of casting and landing their prizes.
There were steady bites from the minute the first rod hook hit the lake water, and before long the group limit of 30 walleye had been achieved.
