Winter Bird Walk
HOWARD — Join the park naturalist at Bald Eagle State Park on Friday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m., for an unpredictable morning of birdwatching! Winter is a great time to hone bird ID skills and see some beautiful year-round species, like blue jays, kingfishers, finches, woodpeckers and more! We will start at the Environmental Learning Center, check the feeders, then go on a short walk to the Marina. The walk will be about 1.5 miles in length, but we will follow mostly paved roads. Dress for the weather, expect some snowy/icy walking conditions and account for cold wind off of the lake at the Marina.
