Historical Society to hold opening day reception for new art gallery

The Clinton County Historical Society has announced the opening of the art gallery by local artist Helen Day. The “Opening Day” reception will be on Friday, Sept. 11 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Poorman Gallery. Paintings donated by George Gedon and on loan from the Porter Township Library, Lamar Fish Hatchery, Elaine Miller, Paul and Karen Swanson and Joyce Adgate and family will be displayed and the donors recognized.
