WILLIAMSPORT –Four people were charged with drug possession after they were pulled over for a traffic violation and found to be DUI at 11:06 p.m. Jan. 10.
Arrested by state police at Montoursville were Terra Maggs, 32, of Cogan Station; Courtney Sholly, 25 of Jersey Shore; Joseph Moyer, 33 of Mill Hall, and Ryan Danneker, 35, of Chickasha, Okla.
MILL HALL — State Police at Lamar recently charged two people with drug possession at 4:47 p.m. on Jan. 15.
According to police, Bradley Bortner, 22, of Jersey Shore and Colton Wagner, 23, of Mill Hall, were found to be in possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia.
The incident took place at 113 Boyd Lane in Lamar Township, Clinton County.
MILL HALL — State Police at Lamar arrested a 63-year-old Mill Hall man after he violated a protection from abuse order that took place along Girard Street in Mill Hall Borough. The incident took place at 5:59 p.m. on Jan. 7. The man was taken into custody and charged for a PFA violation.
Accident at intersection
LOCK HAVEN — There were no injuries in a two-vehicle crash at the corner of North Jay and Each Church streets at 3:50 p.m. on Jan. 20.
Drivers were Margaret Mumbauer of South Willilamsport and Mason T. Baney of Lock Haven, police said.
Mumbauer told police she was northbound on North Jay Street and ran the red light at East Church Street and was struck by Baney, who was east on East Church Street. Mumbauer was charged with running a red light, police said.
Theft by deception
HOWARD — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of theft by deception that took place at 2:13 p.m. on Dec. 31.
According to police, a fuel card belonging to Guebara Delivery and Trucking of Howard was used to make unauthorized purchases for fuel.
The case is under investigation.
LH man charged with assault
WILLIAMSPORT — Scott Mull, 57, of Lock Haven, has been charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly punching his girlfriend Jacqueline Bush several times in the face in the 200 block of Cold springs Road in Upper Fairfield Township on Jan. 15., according to state police at Montoursville.
He was jailed in lieu of $7,500 bail.
JS man charged
JERSEY SHORE — Jason Shade, 41, of 105 N. Broad St., Jersey Shore, has been charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking merchandise valued at under $2 from Smoker’s Express, 350 Allegheny St. on Dec. 31, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police.
This is his second arrest, police said. He was sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
Two charged with theft
JERSEY SHORE — Logan Zinck, 28, of 5531 Route 287, Jersey Shore, and Courtney Sholly, 25, homeless, have been charged with burglary and theft-related offenses for stealing a television set from the home of Timothy Getgen II, at 110 Howard St. on Dec. 14, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police.
Sholly faces a second set of burglary charges for stealing cash and a cell phone from Tammy Getgen’s home at 234 Bunker Hill Road, Jersey Shore on Nov. 30, police said.
Both Zinck and Sholly were jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail each. Zinck has since been released.
JERSEY SHORE — Hailey Lanning, 22, of 107 Maple St., Jersey Shore, was charged with driving under the influence of marijuana, speeding and careless driving on Route 220 in Woodward Township on Nov. 29, according to state police at Montoursville.
She was sent a summons to appear before a district justice.
DUI of fentanyl
JERSEY SHORE — Jeremy Sangl, 39, formerly of Lock Haven and now of Philipsburg, has been charged with DUI of fentanyl and careless driving following a crash on Route 220 in Porter Township on Oct. 26, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police. He was sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
Making false statement
JERSEY SHORE — Scott Bennett, 62, of Mill Hall, was charged by Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police with making false statement under penalty after allegedly putting down false information on a form when he attempted to purchase a firearm at National Sporting Goods in Jersey Shore on Oct. 10.
A summons was issued for him to appear before a district judge.
Man charged with theft
LOCK HAVEN — An 18-year-old Beech Creek man was recently charged with theft.
According to State Police at Lamar, Alvin George, 18, of Beech Creek used a counterfeit $20 to purchase a pack of cigarettes from the Sunoco at 200 S. Hanna St. in Lock Haven. The cigarettes were $6 and George received $14 in change. The incident took place at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 6.
