School bus accident

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police investigated a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus that took place around 2:20 p.m. on March 2.

According to police, a 2010 Nissan Altima being driven by Andreanna Young was struck by a school bus being driven by Bethany Probst. Probst said that she was traveling westbound East Bald Eagle Street when she attempted a left turn onto Locust Alley in order to get to pick up students at Robb Elementary School. Probst said she knew she had struck some tree branches, but was unaware that she had struck a vehicle.

The Nissan sustained a scrape on the hood and the front driver’s quarter panel. There was also yellow paint transfer. The school bus had very minor damage to the rear passenger’s side bumper. There was also fresh damage to the paint in that area. No injuries were reporter and no students were on the bus at the time of the crash.
