Two vehicle accident

LOCK HAVEN — No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hanna and East Bald Eagle streets on May 15, Lock Haven City Police said.

Gabriel R. Caprio was traveling south on Hanna Street when, after stopping at a stop sign, his 2013 Volkswagen Golf struck a 2011 Nissan Versa, driven by Jack L. Shultz. Police say that Shultz was traveling north on the roadway and making a left turn onto East Bald Eagle Street.

Both Caprio and Shultz said they saw the other driver at the stop sign but did not see the other keep driving forward, police said.

A witness, Danielle Englert, told police Shultz was already halfway in the intersection when the accident occurred, police said.

Both vehicles suffered front end damage and were leaking fluids, police said.

No charges were filed as a result of this accident, police said.
