Packages stolen
BELLEFONTE -- A case of theft was investigated by State Police at Rockview.
Police report that a private driver contracted by the U.S. Postal Service stole eight different packages addressed to eight different people throughout Centre County. The victims were not named in the report, but their ages and residences were. The victims were a 25-year-old female from Pleasant Gap; a 37-year-old female from Bellefonte; a 39-year-old male from West Decatur; a 19-year-old female from Bellefonte; a 42-year-old female from Bellefonte; a 51-year-old female from Bellefonte; a 36-year-old female from West Decatur; a 59-year-old female from Bellefonte.
The thefts took place on June 1. The investigation is ongoing.
One-vehicle crash
REBERSBURG -- A one-vehicle crash was investigated by State Police at Rockview on June 10.
According to police, a 1998 Freightliner FLD was traveling along state Route 144 in Burnside Township, Centre County. The tractor trailer was being driven by Richard Robinson, 75, of Bellefonte. Robinson failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle rolled onto its right side as a result of the crash. Robinson was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Snow Shoe EMS for treatment of a minor injury. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Eagle Towing. The Pine Glen Fire Company assisted at the scene.
The accident took place around 4 p.m.
Motor vehicle thefts
SPRING MILLS -- State Police at Rockview investigated a case of theft involving two motor vehicles that took place sometime on either May 21 or 22 in Potter Township, Centre County.
According to police, a 2018 Honda CBR1000RR and a 2019 Honda Rebel were stolen from the parking lot area of Track and Trail, 107 Penn Nursery Road in Potter Township, Centre County.

Criminal mischief
SALLADSBURG -- A case of criminal mischief was investigated by State Police at Montoursville on June 9.
The incident took place along Water Street in Salladasburg Borough, Lycoming County. According to police, Ty Sheddy, 51, of Jersey Shore had a tire on his vehicle punctured. Police said that Sheddy declined to press charges.
Chainsaw stolen
CENTRE HALL -- State Police at Rockview investigated a case of theft that took place sometime on either June 10 or 11 along Colyer Road in Potter Township, Centre County.
According to police, a chainsaw was stolen from a 65-year-old Centre Hall man. The chainsaw is valued at $175. The investigation continues.
Money stolen
SPRING MILLS -- State Police at Rockview investigated a case of theft that took place on May 28 along Wildflower Lane in Gregg Township, Centre County.
Police say that a 37-year-old Spring Mills man $778 taken from his bank account via PayPal. According to police, the bank froze the man's account.
Theft by deception
SPRING MILLS -- State Police at Rockview investigated a case of theft by deception that took place along Sand Mountain Road in Potter Township, Centre County.
According to police, a 56-year-old Spring Mills man was the victim of identity theft on June 11. The investigation is ongoing.
Sexual assault
SNOW SHOE -- State Police at Rockview are investigating a case of sexual assault that took place in Snow Shoe Township, Centre County.
The incident took place on May 18, police say. The investigation continues.
Suicide investigated
BELLEFONTE -- State Police at Rockview investigated a suicide that took place at SCI-Benner along Institution Drive in Benner Township, Centre County.
According to police, the incident took place at 2:26 p.m. on June 6. The case remains open pending the report of the Centre County coroner.
Theft investigated
SNOW SHOE -- State Police at Rockview investigated a case of theft that took place on June 7 along Elm Road in Snow Shoe Township, Centre County.
Police say that Stephanie Quick, 46, of Moshannon was the victim of the theft.

Drug possession
PHILIPSBURG -- A Snow Shoe man was arrested following a traffic stop that took place at 4:03 p.m. on June 7.
According to police, the 29-year-old man was pulled over at the intersection of East Presqueisle Street and Port Matilda Highway in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. Drugs and related paraphernalia were discovered during the stop.
Shoes stolen
CENTRE HALL -- State Police at Rockview investigated a theft that took place along Strawberry Hill Road in Potter Township, Centre County.
According to police, a 55-year-old Centre Hall man had a pair of AKU mid-level hiking shoes taken from his mailbox. The hiking shoes were valued at $125. The victim contacted the U.S. Postal Service about the theft. The incident took place sometime on either June 10 or June 11.
Harassment
RENOVO -- State Police at Lamar are investigating a case of harassment that took place at 9:07 p.m. along Huron Avenue on June 8 in Renovo Borough, Clinton County.
According to police, Richard Marr, 25, of Renovo got into an altercation with Francisco Roman, 45, of Renovo. Marr allegedly spit on Roman. The altercation escalated and Roman punched Marr in the face, according to the report.
Two-vehicle crash
MONTOURSVILLE -- State Police at Montoursville were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place at 9:13 p.m. on June 8 along Interstate 180 in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County.
According to police, an unknown vehicle was backing onto exit 23B when it struck a 2011 Jeep Laredo being driven by Melissa Reese, 43, of Jersey Shore. The Jeep received disabling damage. The unknown vehicle, possibly a black truck with Pennsylvania plates fled the scene. The Jeep was towed by Woody's Towing.
